Our Quality Policy

Sekaf Shea Butter Village’s Women’s Cooperatives (SSWC) quality policy is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by processing Shea Butter products which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers.

This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of processing techniques and procedures that reflect the art and science of processing Shea Butter. Achievement of this policy involves all women, who are individually responsible for the quality of Shea Butter they produce resulting in a continually improving working environment for all.

SSWC quality policy is provided and explained to each new member of the cooperative by the Women groups’ leader.

To achieve and maintain consistent quality of Shea Butter for international markets, SSWC women are well trained in Shea Butter production using recommendations from American Shea butter Institute and the West African Trade Hub expert Dr. Peter Lovett.

The objectives of the Quality Assurance System at Shea Butter Village are:
b) To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the villages’ reputation for premium quality Shea Butter

d) To endeavor, at all times, to maximize customer satisfaction with the products produced by the SSWC.
